Office Manager / Team Cat Herder
Jennifer came to Metcalf Hodges in the summer of 2004 on a temporary basis while still a student at Bellingham Technical College (BTC) and officially joined our team as office manager in March of 2005. As our Office Manager, Jennifer’s job is to keep everything running smoothly, a job which she takes very seriously.
While at BTC Jennifer was honored as an All-Washington Academic Team member at which time she met Governor Gregoire in Olympia. She was also President of the Phi Theta Kappa chapter and Director of Administrative Affairs of the Associated Student Body at BTC.
She has also served as a board member for the Business & Computer Information Systems Advisory Committee at BTC which helps insure current students are acquiring the skills that are in demand in today’s workforce.
Jennifer grew up in Stanwood and moved to Concrete with her family in 2003. They have a beautiful, no flood riverfront property where they love to make improvements. Some of their favorite pastimes are barbecues with family and friends in their backyard. They also enjoy the beautiful surroundings they live in and go camping often or on day trips to the many lakes or mountain areas near their house.
Making stained glass pieces has become a favorite hobby of Jennifer’s and our office is frequently graced with her beautiful pieces. Jennifer has spearheaded Metcalf Hodges Relay for Life fundraising efforts by offering glass ribbons and mosaics for the past several years.
